‘Woodstock: Three Days That Defined A Generation’ Trailer

In August of 1969, one of the most epic, influential and talked about concerts of all time took place over three days on a small dairy farm in upstate New York. We are, of course, talking about Woodstock. With expected attendance of fifty thousand and actual attendance closer to half a million, coupled with more social rights and activism talking points than can even be mentioned, Woodstock was a cultural revolution mired in multiple crises. Woodstock: Three Days That Defined A Generation is an upcoming PBS film that tells the story of the iconic event from a completely new perspective. As they describe it, “With never-before-seen footage, Woodstock: Three Days That Defined A Generation tells the story of the political and social upheaval leading up to those three historic days, as well as the extraordinary events of the concert itself, when near disaster put the ideals of the counterculture to the test.” Woodstock: Three Days That Defined A Generation screenings will be happening all over the US later this month with Q&A’s from filmmakers and special guests at many of them.
