There are only two episodes left in Game of Thrones, so it should come as no surprise that HBO is starting to roll out trailers for the upcoming content we’ll see later this year. Based on this official teaser trailer, their take on Watchmen is going to be a must-watch this fall. For starters, Damon Lindelof–the man behind Lost and The Leftovers–is helming the project, so it should be as delightfully weird as his previous works and the original source material. Unlike the 2009 film of the same name, this isn’t going to be a direct adaptation of Alan Moore’s seminal graphic novel, which gives Lindelof some room to create something all together original based on some great source material. It could all end up going terribly awry because the graphic novel is pretty close to perfect, but with the cast of characters, production team and HBO backing it, that’s highly unlikely.
