Yeti just unveiled the latest products that are going to be added to their line of award-winning coolers, and one of them is a plastic bucket. Yes, you read that correctly. Yeti reinvented the plastic bucket. While we’ll be the first to admit that paying eight times more for a five-gallon Yeti bucket than you’d pay for a bright orange one from the hardware store seems absurd, this thing really does have its merits. It’s built out the same damn-near-indestructible material Yeti coolers are made of. It’s food safe and has tie-down points. It has a non-slip ring on the base to prevent sliding and marking. It also won’t get stuck together with other buckets when you stack them. But most importantly, the Yeti LoadOut bucket doesn’t have a bullshit wire handle with a stupid plastic grip that makes it impossible to carry and prone to breakage; it’s built to last for more than one job or adventure. They’ve also got some accessories coming that will make it even more useful for daily tasks, sporting or even as a soft shell cooler—-a utility belt for your gear, an interior caddy for jobs around the house and a watertight lid.
