You could spend every waking minute with your girlfriend listening to music, going to concerts, and talking about podcasts, and the Cone would still know what you want to hear better than she does. The speaker learns what you like to listen to, when you like to listen to it, and how highly you rate it, and uses that information to tailor audio selections for you. Created by a group of former Nokia, Apple, and Google employees, the team behind it has the chops to deliver a new music experience to your home. The Cone connects to your Wi-Fi and allows you to eliminate the need for a computer, phone, or other device when you want to play some tunes. The controls are simple – a tap here, a spin there – and, assuming they can get the big music services on board, it should be a pretty great, stand-alone piece for your pad.
