Sony SA-NS500 HomeShare Portable Speaker

Sony SA-NS500 HomeShare Portable Speaker

At this point in time, it’s harder to get us interested in another speaker/dock/super-universal-totally-versatile-sound-system than it is to get us to a dry wedding. Sony actually piqued our interest with the new HomeShare Portable Speaker for more than one reason. First, it’s not ugly. It’s AirPlay enabled (No iDevice? Just use iTunes). The kicker though is really its ability to take center stage and spin your music in 360 degrees. Unless you want to move it upstairs for a night cap (it’s battery powered), you’ll never have to reposition it. If you happen to be a die-hard Sony guy like one of the editors that won’t be named, it links up with a bunch of other Sony gadgets for “party streaming.”
