Thirteen BMW R80 Cafe Racer

Thirteen BMW R80 Cafe Racer

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again—the BMW R80 platform is one of the best starting points for a great custom build. The latest garage to join the fray is “it roCkS!bikes” out of Portgual. Since the beginning of 2013, Alexandre Santos and Osvaldo Coutinho have been combining their engineering talents and motorcycle addictions to create modern versions of classic style cafe racers. As Santos told Return of the Cafe Racers, “we like them clean, simple, elegant and fast!” Their CS-08, or Thirteen as they like to call it, is the perfect example of the brand delivering on all those things. The BMW R80 delivered by the owner was torn down and overhauled before being fitted with a collection of aftermarket and custom parts that would make any enthusiast drool. Custom exhaust, R1100 RS swingarm and monoshock, Yamaha R1 forks, handmade aluminum single piece body, gorgeous paint, and the list just keeps going. Like many other custom options in the space, this is another cafe racer that’s a rolling work of art.
