Off the top of our heads, we can’t think about any piece of gear that wouldn’t be cooler if you operated it with a bolt action mechanism. Maybe it’s the tactical response. Maybe it’s our fidgety nature. Maybe it’s just the mechanics of the whole thing. Regardless of the why, we’d put a bolt action on everything we could if we had the choice. Fellhoelter, Tuff-Writer, and FOURSEVENS collaborated on this new flashlight that uses that familiar mechanism as an innovative user interface. The Type-III hard-anodized, aircraft-grade aluminum body flashlight weighs in at 4oz and is 6″ long for easy portability.
