Paper by FiftyThree remains one of our favorite iPad apps to this day. We hate in-app purchases as much as everyone else reading this, but the additional “brushes” and mixer were actually worth the coin. And yeah, there are other apps with features we would like (import, duplicate, etc.) integrated into Paper, but it still holds its own in terms of ease of use and final product. FiftyThree is back with the only addition the app really needed–a stylus that doesn’t suck. Pencil is a digital stylus made of Walnut or Graphite that’s shaped like a pencil (duh) and designed to work with Paper. Touch Pencil to your Retina display iPad and it auto-pairs with the device using Bluetooth LE. Blend your fine lines and colors with your fingers after using Pencil, just like real life, thanks to the palm rejection technology. The built-in eraser also works. Still not sold? Pencil purchase also includes all the in-app add-ons, so you’re getting like $15 of free stuff.
