The tightest ride you’ve ever had was probably not a bike, but if it was it would be a Swobo. The Swobo Sanchez is one of the cleanest chassis out there which allows you to go to town on it so you can make it your own. The rear hub can also be flipped, just in case you wanna run a fixed gear. The entire bike is assembled for fit and function (just to make sure) prior to getting disassembled so you can go all DIY when it gets to your door.
