More of a moped than a scooter, the EMF is a joint effort between Yamaha and Taiwanese firm Gogoro. The EMF uses Gogoro’s swappable battery tech, and the body of the scooter is slicker than most mopeds you’ve seen. The angular and stealthy two-wheeler has stacked LED headlights, a big TFT display with navigation, and an NFC card/smartphone app that allows the rider to turn the EMF on and off remotely. Hopefully, we’ll see it stateside in the not-too-distant electrified future.
