Mention UAE to most people and a few words come to mind, usually oil and money. But that ain’t all kids. From the newest car brand in the United Arab Emirates comes the first UAE-produced car, sort of. Presenting the Zarooq Sand Racer. With a silhouette not unlike the BMW X6, the Sand Racer is a sand-eating beast that somehow remains street legal. Turning the knobbiest of knobby tires is a 3.5 liter Nissan V-6 that, depending on configuration, puts out 300-500hp. The carbon fiber body sits on an off-road suspended chassis that is nothing less than heavy-duty. And customizable, very customizable. Available January 2016.
