Segway wants you to forget about its much-maligned, seriously overpriced, and geeky city-tour-relegated Segway CT. The Dean Kamen-invented two-wheeler was supposed to upend transportation as we know it, but it only upended itself. Now, that it’s no longer made, Segway is focusing on other modes of e-transportation. The eMoped C80 breaks from moped convention via its sleek looks, as well as via the all-electric powertrain that nets 50 miles of range and a top speed of 20 mph. The pedals qualify it as an electric bicycle, but the use of them isn’t required for motion since it’s not electric assist.
