Kickstands are so fourth grade. You don’t spend upwards of hundreds – if not thousands – of dollars on a sweet new bike and not shell out for some way to display it. You could hand it on the wall, ceiling, or somewhere in the garage using some crazy Rube Goldberg sort of contraption, but that’s a lot of time and effort that could be spent riding. The Clankworks Pinch Stand is a simple – yet very effective – way to not only vertically secure your bike, but display it for everyone that passes through. The two bamboo spring slats are secured with aluminum hardware and use the weight of your bike to firmly lock the rear wheel in place. When you’re ready to take it to the mean streets, all you have to do is lift your bike out of the adjustable pinch and you’re ready to go.
