Since the debut of the new GS last year, it was obvious BMW had something pretty special on their hands. The follow up is the 2014 R1200 GS Adventure and it looks fairly fantastic. Designed to perform on changing terrain, the R1200 GS Adventure sports additional vibration dampening for a smoother ride, a little more ground clearance than its predecessor, and a masculine, somewhat future military-esque style. The bike’s got an impressive 7.9-gallon aluminum tank (2.6 gallons larger than a standard GS) and has electronic modes to adapt to rain and road. Should see this guy stateside early next year.
