The upcoming and much-heralded CD Projekt videogame, “Cyberpunk 2077” should prove to be a thrill to play. The lead, Johnny Silverhand (actually based on Keanu Reeves) drives a 100-year old Porsche 911 Turbo (the iconic air-cooled 930 version). In the game, the 1977 911 Turbo has door camera mirrors, LiDAR and an autonomous-ready automatic gearbox, and a modified bio-fuel flat-six engine, all the while retaining the cars’s classic bug-eye front fascia, period-correct wheels, and that perfect whale-tail rear spoiler. The folks at Porsche have actually taken the highly detailed video game version and created one in the metal. It’s now on display at Porsche’s Stuttgart, Germany museum until October 22nd.
