Until 1992, there was an archaic law in New York that prevented women, but not men, from being topless in public. Frankly, we find that offensive. In 1992, New York State struck that law down and with it, tops everywhere. Confetti fell from the heavens, champagne bottles exploded and men everywhere rejoiced for the brave few that dared to go bare in NY State. All kidding aside, it’s not just about the titties—it’s about rights being equal. The Topless New York Kickstarter project is about the creation of an exhibit, a calendar and a book to raise awareness for the cause and well, we’re not even going to add the other part. This is a great project and we’ll happy support them it.
