Over the years, IKEA has produced incredible pieces of furniture that you can find in homes, offices and, yes, dorms all over the world. Everyone loves to rag on the modern and minimal furniture company because the price point makes even the most iconic IKEA products accessible to everyone, but as it turns out, those same favorites like the Billy bookcase, Lack table and Ektorp sofa fit quite well even in famous living rooms. As part of a campaign for IKEA United Emirates, IKEA worked with Publicis Spain to recreate the famous livings rooms from The Simpsons, Stranger Things and Friends using only IKEA furniture. As they put it, “We brought to life the iconic living rooms of the most beloved families of all times, through tons of furniture combinations in lots of different styles and sizes – and at affordable prices. We’ve grouped all the products for each room for you, so it’s easy to recreate what you see here in your own home. Take a look and make your living room iconic with IKEA.” They nailed it. And if you want to do something similar in one of the rooms in your own home, it’s only like $1,000 US per room for the IKEA furniture.
