Dad and Dudes Breweria, out of the Denver suburb of Aurora, just got approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to sell their cannabis-infused beer in all 50 states. General Washington’s Secret Stash IPA is infused with cannabis—cannabinoids (CBDs), to be specific—and includes about 4 milligrams per pint. While there’s no THC in the brew, the patent-pending process they use to create the IPA leverages the antioxidant and neuro-protectant properties of the cannabinoids to create a deliciously sudsy beverage with other health benefits. And George Washington’s Secret Stash is just the beginning because Dad and Dudes will be serving five cannabis-infused beers at the Great American Beer Festival October 6-8 in Denver.
