The 1979 cult classic film The Warriors is being adapted into a TV show with Paramount and Hulu by none other than Joe and Anthony Russo. If you’re not familiar with The Warriors, it was a thriller directed by Walter Hill, based on Sol Yurick’s 1965 novel, that centers on a gang trying to get home after being framed for murder. And if you’re not familiar with the Russo brothers, they have credits ranging from the newest Captain America movies, the upcoming Avengers flicks, Arrested Development and even Community. No one knows for sure how the brothers Russo will inject their own style into the adaptation of the classic, but they’ve reportedly said they’ll honor the original film. We have no idea what it’s actually going to end up looking like, but we can guarantee that with parties like this involved it’s going to be binge worthy.
