Kingsman: The Secret Service was one of the most surprisingly enjoyable movies we’ve ever stumbled into. Case in point, when the first trailers were coming out, we couldn’t believe we were excited for a Colin Firth action movie. And thankfully Matthew Vaughn delivered, as he consistently does (know how we keep telling you about Kick-Ass and Stardust?). Now we get a sequel, with all the over-the-top action and international stereotypes we’ve been wanting. The Golden Circle‘s first official trailer shows us familiar characters, some insane levels of destruction, and introduces us to the Kingsman’s American counterparts, the Statesman. This is where those stereotypes come in, because where the British service is full of gentlemen with umbrellas, well-tailored suits, and plenty of manners, the Americans are ten-gallon hat wearing, repeater toting, whip lashing cowboys. It should be mentioned too, these are all stereotypes we’re completely on board with. As is the movie. Really, we’re excited for everything involved here.
