We’ve treated the Beastie’s music like lyrical gospel for a solid portion of our lives. We did in fact fight for our right to party, we pulled crazy all-nighters (not necessarily till we got to Brooklyn though) and we basically tried to get women in our bed at a “Girls” worthy clip. What did we get? Possibly a bum liver, a handful of ointments from our doc and a one hell of a great time. The 8th Beastie Boys album – originally Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 but since it was delayed due to Adam Yauch’s (MCA’s) cancer treatment has had a bit of a name/track listing change – features a new version of “Too Many Rappers” along with a collaboration with Santigold we’re pumped for. The first single, “Make Some Noise” is a track you put on your iPod twice just so it can come up more often in shuffle and we doubt the rest of the album will disappoint.
