Rolleiflex cameras are fairly iconic and still trusted today by photographers today. Despite many of the most popular twin lens models being decades old, the cameras still find their way into the hands of pros. Now there’s a Rolleiflex for a wider audience. The Rolleiflex Instant Camera takes Fuji Instax Mini Film and looks just like the medium format cameras of old. While this is an instant camera, you’ll still have the ability to preview your shot when you look down at the camera, so it feels very much a Rolleiflex. Also unlike most instant cameras, the Rolleiflex Instant lets you fiddle with aperture and change exposure modes. Since you can snap your shots from waist level, eye level, or knee level, and since there’s an autofocus system, you’ll capture more natural faces. It’s new meets old, and it’s available for backing now on Kickstarter.
