The Confederate X132 Hellcat Motorcycle is one hell of a bike with a style and design all its own, but it’s still capable of suffering full on brake failure like any other bike. When that happened to one owner, he brought it to Revival Cycles, one of the nation’s best builders, and they rebuilt the crashed Hellcat into something that’s immediately recognizable while still being altogether different. The most challenging design project Revival has ever taken on involved rebuilding parts of the Confederate Hellcat in a way that pays homage to the original while still being worthy of a new name. In this case, it’s The Revival 140 because it weighs less than 500 pounds has 140 foot-pounds of torque. Hand-formed alloy all over the bike in organic yet brutal shapes give the bike an almost Gigerian feel despite the fact they’re not black, and the Revival treatment makes it completely unique, interesting and something you’ll be unable to take your eyes off of on the road.
