Aiming squarely at both European and Asian hypercars, NYC-based Lyons Motor Car will be introducing its LM2 Streamliner next month at the New York International Auto Show. As expected, this concept is covered in a mind-bending, carbon fiber collection of exterior lines. Making the most of technological advances, the Streamliner is fully programmable via iPhone or other smartphone and they claim to have eliminated about 20 miles of chassis wiring. But what about this 1700 hp? Somewhere underneath is a twin turbo, twin intercooled DOHC V8 that generates 1700 horsepower. As this is a concept, performance can only be calculated, but Lyon figures that 0-60 is only 2.2 seconds with a standing ¼ mile just under 9 seconds. Top speed estimates are a mind-blowing 290 mph.
