This App Lets You Stream an Album by Taking a Picture of It

We’ll often find ourselves flipping through records at a shop and stumbling up on a small collection with killer artwork. Great cover art doesn’t always equal great music, unfortunately. With Record Player, a new app that works with Spotify, you can snap a picture of an album cover and stream it instantly, quickly finding out whether it’s worth a purchase or not. Sure you could just type in the artist and album, but this app expedites the process just a bit, which is something we’re all for. You do need a Spotfiy account to use the app, but that’s a wise purchase anyway.
