Field Trip App for Android

Sorry iPhone lovers, this one’s just for the Google crowd. Well, at least for now since the iOS version of Field Trip is not out yet. Basically, think of Field Trip as your virtual tour guide to the world. The app runs in the background of your Android device and whenever you are near something it deems interesting, a notification pops up. It covers everything from historic places and architecture to cool places to eat or grab a drink. Combining info from awesome recommendation services like Thrillist and Zagat, the app will transform your weekend wanderings and trips to new cities.
