Cloned Photos

Artist David Eger openly admits that “Although the concept of recreating historical images is not original, I believe I have put a new twist on the idea.” We wholeheartedly agree. Rather than simply taking a historical image, opening it in Photoshop and putting his own twist on it, Eger takes a page out of his own 365 Days of Clones book and adds Clone Troopers and Star Wars characters in the form of action figures. Cloned Photos addresses everything from The Social Network to da Vinci to a new take on a New Hope in a way that’s fun, unique and even hilarious–while still remaining true to the feeling of the original subject matter. In other words, say goodbye to the next half hour because you’re going to end up looking at all of the Cloned Photos.
