We have no idea how IKEA missed out on this golden opportunity, but the bike inspired by flat packaging and home assembly is here. The Sandwichbike is bicycle you assemble from two wooden plates. The idea is to remove the standard look of a bike full of welding joints and whatnot and make a ride that’s stylish and different. The Sandwichbike will be released on the first of December and can be assembled in around 30 minutes. Now if IKEA folks could get their heads out of the Swedish meatballs for a few minutes, they could give us something like this at a more affordable price.
