John Lennon’s Ferrari

John Lennon’s Ferrari

We were so close to declaring Infinium Ale from Sam Adams and Weihenstephan the greatest “colliding of universes” item on the market, then we saw this – John Lennon’s 1965 Ferrari 330 GT.  Now, we love a good dry-hopped ale as much as the next guy, but let’s be honest, this ride has it licked.  John Lennon & Ferrari.  Just shortly after the 30thanniversary of the legend’s death, you can own one of the ultimate pieces of Lennon history.  The light metallic blue Ferrari was purchased by the Beatle on April 20, 1965 and very soon could be sitting in your garage.  John’s driving was much like a little old lady with a pair of Blublockers and the singer ultimately decided to ditch the ride (and driving in general for the most part) not long after purchasing it.  Since he gave it up, the Ferrari took a beating but has since been repainted and completely restored and is ready to hit Abbey Road once again.
