EVs are big in China, and there are a crap ton that we’ll never see stateside. That’s too bad because the HiPhi Z from Human Horizons is a looker, albeit on the busy side. This production version boasts the looks of a squared-off four-door version of the BMW i8, a huge wraparound interactive display with AI. That artificial intelligence provides information through a 23-speaker Meridian premium audio system, haptic feedback, visual cues, as well as through scent. Perhaps the craziest aspect is the 8-way robotic arm that can handle self-driving duties. The car also has animated LED panels on the body and an active aero system. It gets an impressive 438 miles of range and will hit 60 mph from a standstill in 3.8 seconds.
