For most guys, a 2007 Land Rover Defender TD5 is all the vehicle they need for an adventure, but Jay Hayden is not most guys. What started as an obsession for models, building sets and adventures as a kid led to industrial design studies, a Land Rover obsession and 31MM Adventure Vehicles. The 31MM AV One is powered by a 2.5L Turbo Diesel engine with a hybrid performance turbocharger and turbo boost module that’s capable of developing 220bhp. Nothing goes untouched because everything from the brake lines and the pedals to a powder coated snorkel and a bespoke ECU remap has been addressed by Hayden to create 31MM’s Ultimate Adventure Vehicles. Unfortunately, AV One isn’t available for purchase at this time, but 31MM will be releasing more modded late model Defenders in the future.
