We’ve driven the “regular” Nissan GT-R, and it’s phenomenal. We can’t imagine getting behind the wheel of one of the coach-built Nissan GT-R50s that was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both the Nissan GT-R and design house Italdesign. What started out as a concept turned into a very limited run of only 50 cars at a price of $1.165 million apiece. They went even quicker than the car itself. Now, one of those 50 is up for sale. The car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that drives all four wheels with 710 hp and 585 lb-ft of torque. It also gets racing componentry, a hydraulic rear wing, a reworked dual-clutch transmission, and adaptive dampers. The $30k extra paint job makes it even more special. No pricing has been mentioned, but expect it to be more than the original asking price. Is it worth it? We say yes, especially since it has never been driven.
