When it comes to deep sea exploration vehicle manufacturers, there’s Triton Submarines and everyone else. If that name sounds familiars it’s because they’re the ones that teamed up with Aston Martin to build their Project Neptune Submarine. After exploring the depths of the Marianas Trench, they’ve set their sites on the luxury tourism market with the Triton DeepView tourist submarines. The unique design looks kind of like one of those clear bank tubes sandwiched between two boats which gives all of the occupants crystal clear views of everything below the surface. What’s more, because it’s designed to be modular, the DeepView can be configured to hold from 12 – 66 passengers with additional 6 passenger sections. It can dive all the way down to 330ft and has a total running time for 12 hours. Right now, Triton has one ready to roll out at luxury hotel and resort chain Vinpearl, but we expect to see these all over the world soon.
