Soiatti Moto Classiche 1971 BSA A65 Thunderbolt Restomod

We’ve covered more than our fair share of restomod bikes over the years. While all the bikes that have before have been beautiful, this Soiatti Moto Classiche 1971 BSA A65 Thunderbolt Restomod is in a class all its own. Daniele and Alberto Soiatti, the father and son team behind the Italian brand, didn’t start with much for this build because apparently the bike showed up in fire-damaged pieces after being in a blaze over a decade ago. After what we can only imagine was months of work, the bike looks better than original and is filled with intricate and gorgeous details. Cadillac blue paint on the frame and swing-arm. Polished engine covers and a polished tank with metallic gold highlights. Since the bike is oil-in-frame, the Soiatti’s installed a nut with a transparent head on the chassis so you can gauge the oil level. Add to that the custom number plate setups in front and back, Bitubo shocks, Renthal bars, diamond-stitched seat, upgraded instrumentation, Bridgestone rubber, and plenty of other upgrades and improvements. In short, it’s one of the most beautiful bikes we’ve ever seen, and we can’t wait to see what the shop does next.
