Turn Any Flat Plank Into A Shelf

Do you remember the Floyd Leg hardware? It turned any flat surface into a table using some cleverly designed hardware and integrated clamps. The Floyd Leg made creating your own table so much easier than actually designing and building out legs because all you needed was the table top. If you want some similarly styled storage / display space, The Floyd Shelf uses the same idea to turn any flat plank (up to 1 5/8″ thick) into one hell of a cool shelf. The brackets themselves are available in powder-coated red, white or black and have a little vertical lip on the inside of each side that doubles as a bookend. The only thing you need to do–after you securely mount the brackets to the wall–is find an appropriately sized piece of something (you know you’re gonna use wood) to clamp in.
