If you don’t have your own man cave yet, you might want to move to Koto City in Tokyo Japan where TONERICO:INC just opened the ultimate man cave for car, book, and coffee lovers. The huge two-floor emporium complex houses an expansive garage with service lifts, a beautiful bookstore, Starbucks, and even a toy store. It is touted as “a pitstop for both cars and people”, but we’re not sure if this is in order of importance since the photos show a vintage Ferrari Dino and Porsche 911. There are cameras in the garage that stream to an app for customer monitoring, and the upper floor has thematic sections centering on cars: Garage & Car, Family & Car, and Travel & Car. We can see ourselves spending quite a bit of time here, not just for what’s housed within but for the gorgeously designed complex is nominated for the 2019 Golden Pin Design Award for Best Design category. The winner will be announced on December 5th in Taipei. We know who we’re voting for.
