Born out of their love of classic cars, woodworking and mid-century nostalgia, Candylab Toys is back with a whole new collection of solid wood toys inspired by vintage cars. The new collection includes a whole slew of new designs all based on a pretty simple formula: solid block of beech gets cut and painted and then has wheels added. They use real wood, metal pins and rubber tires. In other words, they make the Towie Truck, Candycab, Blu74, Woodie Wagon, Camper and surfboards just like they used to be made. Each and every one of these “toys” is as much a work of art as it is a pinewood derby car that’s too pretty to race, which means they’ll look as good on a shelf in your office as they will in a little one’s hands.
