This Stanley & Sons Checker Set is Also a Bandana

We really don’t play checkers all that much, but that might change when the weather gets nicer because of this new outdoor set from Stanley & Sons. The board is a 22″ x 22″ cotton bandana that’s discharge printed squares. Each of the twenty-four game pieces is a handmade ceramic checker glazed and stamped with S&S on the bottom. No one wants to deal with 24 loose ceramic pieces wrapped in a bandana just bouncing around in your beach or picnic bag, so Stanley & Sons threw in a drawstring muslin bag to carry the set around. In other words, we all finally have something to do at the beach other than drink beer and watch people tan.
