The Multi-Tool Disguised As A Pen

If you grew up in the 80s, or at least remember the time of Alf and the good Transformers movie, you’ll probably remember those ridiculous pop-a-point pencils filled with the tiny white pieces of plastic with graphite tips. When you broke the pencil tip, you just popped up a new one. When you ran out, you slid more in through the bottom. So what the hell does any of that have to do with the Tool Pen from Taiwan-based Mininch? The aluminum bodied Tool Pen uses the same type of mechanism to store six different Imperial, Metric, Pozidrive or Square bits. Each of the 31 different bits is milled from SAE 8660 and built with a tailor-made hexagon barrel, which is what allows them to layer on top of each other in the pen body. Find the bit you need using the bubbles on the side, and then push or pull the bits til you have access. Carrying tools is rarely this easy.
