Operating for a decade and a half in Lithuania, Purinok’s Woodcrafts is a small shop that designs, manufactures and builds wooden toys, models and kits. Each of the models in the collection is made with natural wood that hasn’t been painted, giving each that authentic old school toy vibe even though the subject matters are considerably more modern. Purinok’s creations are divided into five different categories: wooden models (Kenworth W 900 semi and trailer, Vanhool A 308 bus, Dresser Komatcu dump truck), wooden robots (with six difficulty levels ranging from Minecraft to Transformers), big wooden kits (fire truck, harvester, helicopter), small wooden kits (basic cars, planes and trucks) and wooden toys (blocks, super simple cars, bricks, etc.). Like a combination of LEGO and Tinkertoy, models have varying degrees of skill and numbers of parts, ranging from easy to assemble with only a few dozen parts to considerably more difficult when the parts reach into the thousands. Contact Purinok’s Woodcrafts through their site to order.
