Flickr user Spencer Rezkalla is a fan of modern architecture who’s spent the past fifteen years building replicas of famous buildings out of LEGO. While all of his creations are excellent, the latest, the new Apple Park is one for the record books. Rezkalla was so impressed with Foster + Partners’ Apple Cupertino design that he created the entire campus in a 19-square-foot model that is full of intricate details. It took him over two years to complete the almost 80-pound model, but it’s damn near perfect, down to the 1,600+ trees, 2.5-foot-long circular headquarters and hills. Rezkalla admitted that it wasn’t perfect, because early drone videos led him to believe the still under-construction courts would be used for tennis instead of for volleyball, but it’s still probably as close to accurate as anyone is going to get recreating this iconic campus out of plastic building bricks.
