Over the course of his career, Frank Lloyd Wright designed some of the most iconic and architecturally significant buildings in the world. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, this home was Frank Lloyd Wright’s final residential design and was originally built for Norman Lykes in 1967 by apprentice John Rattenbury. The Norman Lykes Home is a fantastic example of the style of Wright’s later works, like the aforementioned Guggenheim, and is built with a series of concentric circles that resemble gears from above. As if owning a Wright designed home built to compliment the landscape isn’t enough, it’s set into the side of a mountain with picturesque views of Palm Canyon.
