Founders Sweet Repute Barrel-Aged Wheat Wine

If there is one thing the guys over at Founders know, it’s barrel-aged beverages. Their Kentucky Breakfast Stout and Canadian Breakfast Stout are two of the greatest beers to ever pass our lips. Now they’re taking their skills to something a little different and seriously exciting. Sweet Repute is their latest release in the Backstage Series and is a wheat wine that’s aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels. Coming in at a healthy 13% ABV, this sweet and nutty brew will definitely be a sipper to be shared. We’ve also realized that we should be aging all our drinks, from beer to Mountain Dew, in maple syrup bourbon barrels.
