A Back to the Future DeLorean LEGO set has to be the best version of DeLorean ownership. It has none of the mechanical failures, safety, and quality control issues, or sluggishness that plagued the actual car and all of the romance, Hollywood shine, and nostalgia that made us fall in love with the car. This new kit is ridiculously faithful to the movies, with different configurations for each installment of the trilogy making it a 3-in-1 purchase. The interior of the car comes with printed bricks that display movie-accurate dates and the Doc and Marty figurines are as accurate a LEGOfication of a person as we’ve ever seen. The flux capacitor even lights up. The only real worry we have is that the release is planned for April 1st and an April Fool’s joke of this caliber would make for something truly cruel and unusual.
