Whether it’s Palomas or margs, spritzes or seltzers or beer / lemonade hybrids, there’s always one definitive drink of the summer. This year, that drink is undoubtedly, without question, the boozy, fizzy bev. Whether your jam is White Claws, Spiked Seltzer, Truly, Henry’s, Nauti, Smirnoff or any of the other countless options out there, there’s no denying the fact that the spiked seltzer is the summer drink of 2019. Even though they released a beer / lemonade hybrid in Naturdays, everyone’s favorite college beer that they refuse to drink as an adult–aka Old Natty Light–is doubling down on their summer drink options with their own line of boozy seltzers because we don’t have enough options already. What do the Natty Light Catalina Lime Mixer and Aloha Beaches options bring to the table that none of the other options do? More taste, more calories and most importantly, a slightly higher ABV at 6% instead of the regular 5%, and a lower cost. There’s no denying that more booze at a lower cost is always a great idea, but make sure you’re consuming responsibly because–despite the fact they’re boozy seltzers–they’re still not all that healthy.
