James Bond has been the coolest cat in cinema history for fifty years now. That’s right, five-zero. From Connery to Dalton to Craig, from Aston to BMW back to Aston and with enough women to make even Terry Richardson jealous (we hear that’s hard to do), Bond, James Bond is pretty much a historic icon. For the 50th Anniversary, EON Productions opened the archives to editor Paul Duncan so he could go nuts with fifty years of photos, designs, storyboards, production materials and other documentation. The James Bond Archives is the culmination of over two years of work on Duncan’s part and includes a lot of never-before-seen and previously unpublished photography, artwork, behind-the-scenes and on set material. Which is probably why it costs $126 for the book. To be fair though, the first print run of the book also includes an original strip of film from Dr. No.
