The Music portion of SXSW (we’re not even going to pretend like you don’t know what that acronym means) is as close to Mecca as you can get if you’re a lover of all things indie and undiscovered. For 25 years running it’s been the leading festival event in an industry that’s full of festival events. What’s it really about is discovering a bunch of bands even your plaid-wearing, PBR drinking friends haven’t heard of yet. We took the liberty of putting together some of our favorite artists and songs so you wouldn’t have to take a week off work and travel to Austin.
