In case you guys weren’t paying attention, it was recently announced that, in addition to being editors for Cool Material, we’re Banksy. Probably should have thrown a “spoiler alert” in there, so sorry if we just ruined it for you. All kidding aside, Banksy is an international icon, a cultural phenomenon and the guy that basically kicked the art world in the pants. The Man Behind the Wall is reporter Will Ellsworth-Jones investigation of Banksy from the time he was a nobody to the time people started tearing down the walls of their businesses to sell his work. He gets the nitty gritty from friends, enemies and frenemies and explores what it means that *insert art school critique about contradictions and meanings and messages here*. Seriously though, it’s a really good book.
