The two new beers from the San Diego brewery are not for the timid. Crime is a version of Lucky Bastard – which is a blend of Arrogant Bastard, Oaked Arrogant Bastard and Double Bastard – that’s brewed with an absurd amount of peppers, and Punishment is the same except with just Double Bastard Ale as the base. We’d say the 9.6% ABV and 12% ABV respectively are fairly strong, but that really won’t matter when you’re chasing each sip with a gallon of milk.
