Interior design is all the rage these days. With so much time spent at home, we’ve seen an increased interest in decor, furniture, and home goods. And the big players want in. The chain coffee and donut company Dunkin’ just announced that it’d be teaming up with Backdrop to release a limited-edition wall paint collection inspired by the brand’s iconic colors. Any die-hard Dunkin’ fans out there need an interior remodel? (We’re looking at you, Boston.)
Backdrop is a DTC paint company built for the modern homeowner. Founded by husband and wife duo Natalie & Caleb Ebel, Backdrop offers Green Wise certified and low-VOC paints in chic, stylish paint cans. With its focus on customizable, curated colors, Backdrop is a brand suited for a younger, design-conscious demographic. And the partnership with Dunkin’ brings a bit of playfulness to the donut company.
“Dunkin’ is an iconic American brand and we couldn’t be more thrilled to launch their first paint colors,” shares Backdrop Co-Founder Natalie Ebel in a press release. “We’re so excited about the sensorial overlap between donuts and icing and sprinkles and paint and love these vibrant colors.”
And while you might balk at the idea of having a Dunkin’-branded living room, the colors are extremely fun and bright. The two colors released in the limited-edition collection include Dunkin’ Orange (bright orange) and Dunkin’ Pink (bright pink) available in half gallons for $39 each. The collection released earlier today and Backdrop confirmed that only a limited number will be available so donut-lovers act fast.
